This product is a standard part and fits completely in standard parts place, no modifications needed.

  • Make sure your threads are clean, this is by far the most common problem with injector bolts on these engines.
  • Below is a hack video on how to clean injectors threads, watch it! In short, use the old bolts as a cleaning tool, and clean out MANY TIMES, until the bolt does not catch any debris at all whe screwed back and forth.
  • Tightening torque on these bolts is 7Nm +90deg +90deg
  • Do not use same bolt twice!

What do I do if my injector bolts threads are damaged?

Use helicoil, there is room to drill it out and insert an M6 helicoil. We have had this method work many times.

Why is my injector not sealing?

The bottom might be damaged, it needs to be cleaned properly for this a small metal brush attached to drill. In worst case scenarios the bottom needs to be cleaned with a reamer, please avoid using this method and if there is no other option use it very carefully to remove as little as possible from the seal surface and have a professional do it for you.

There are different sized seals / washers available, what are those for?

You never need to use thicker seals/washers, the standard measurement is always good.
