Engine breakdown !

Teemu and the boys were testing the new engine set-up in the old car yesterday. Everything was fine and the Engine was singing like never before  with a amazing throttle response. The guys then tough they would test to boost it i little bit more and turned the pressure up to 3.8 bar. The engin got even more powerful…

 for a little while….

and then a big plop -> the coolant came out from the exhaust pipe, not good at all. So it seems like we blow the cylinder-gasket. That means now race tomorrow and mental note to self: the original gasket cant take 3.8 bar boost. Teemu just called from Sweden and told me that he had bought a whole new w210 “väyrynen” with a new om 606 engine so the car will be running in no time.
